Where Winds Meet Builds (Version 2.2)

A build starts with a martial path, an official pairing of two weapon martial arts. Here are all 10 paths in Version 2.2, where three recent tier lists place each one, and the guide for each build.

Tier lists are their authors' opinions. We show whose list each column is, when it was made and for which version, and we do not merge them into one ranking.

The official Version 2.2 patch notes (September 16, 2026) list no damage or cooldown changes to martial arts. Their only martial-art entry corrects the description of a Nameless Sword effect.

NPC Waifu ranks damage builds only, so the healing path Silkbind - Deluge is not on that list. The list shows Stonesplit - Strength twice: once with Phalanxbane Blade highlighted (he calls it the Mo Blade style) and once with Snowparting Blade highlighted (the Heng Blade style).

We read each placement from the list itself on October 6, 2026. Builds that mix weapons from different paths appear on these lists too, but this table only shows the ten official pairs.

Where the two PvE lists differ

Both PvE lists use S, A and B, but they do not rank by the same yardstick. NPC Waifu rates the damage a build deals in practice; Game8 rates how well a build does its job overall, including what it brings to a group. Read them side by side rather than as one scale. They put these 5 paths in different tiers. Game8's list was last updated for Version 2.1; NPC Waifu's came out after the 2.2 update.
